Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa Corporate Office in Kroonstad is seeking a Radiographer to operate X-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, CT scanning and contribute to theatre screening, delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

The role emphasises radiation protection (ALARA), accurate record-keeping and collaboration with Radiologists. Familiarity with SAHPRA regulations and ICD-10 coding is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completion of Community Service in the relevant field.
• 2 years private practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Assist the Radiologist with procedures
• Apply ALARA radiation protection to minimise exposure to patients, staff, self and others
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of examinations performed
• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety
• Quality control tests as per SAHPRA Regulations
• Assist with modality stock control and ordering of consumables
• Assist with billing, procedural and ICD-10 coding
