Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Service Engineer Imaging for South Africa to perform start-up, calibration and service of imaging modalities. You will install, troubleshoot and optimize CT, MR, X-ray and ultrasound systems on site while coordinating with vendors and the client.

Fluent English is mandatory, Portuguese is a plus. The role requires 4+ years in imaging service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Imaging service or equivalent.
• X-Ray, CT and MR experience preferred.
• Philips certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage small teams.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, calibration and service of imaging modalities (CT, MR, X-Ray, Ultrasound).
• Provide expert level service and install solutions.
• Communicate technical issues and delays to stakeholders.
• Keep installation projects on schedule and ensure quality work.
• Evaluate room layout and installation quality of mechanical vendors.
• Perform complex equipment installation and testing.
• Manage tools and parts inventory, schedule maintenance and document interventions.
• Interface with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on resolution.
