QuickBooks Bookkeeper

Our University has long set the standard for the Jewish Community's education, with a commitment to academic excellence and the preservation of tradition. We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our finance team and work closely under our Bookkeeping Manager. This role is vital to ensuring accuracy and transparency in our financial operations while supporting our mission to serve the community through education.

Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts.
  • Process and reconcile credit card statements.
  • Manage data entry of financial transactions into QuickBooks.
  • Gather and follow up on missing financial information from internal departments or external stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records for audits and reporting.
  • Support the Bookkeeping Manager with additional financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Respect for confidentiality and alignment with the values of the Jewish educational community.
