Job summary

People Dimension in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management across electrical and construction projects. The role requires 5–10 years post-qualification experience and a solid understanding of LV/MV reticulation, substations and electrical infrastructure.

You will manage valuations, variations, claims, procurement and subcontractor coordination, with a hands-on, ownership driven approach and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Post-qualification experience of 5–10 years
Experience in electrical/construction industry, preferably LV/MV reticulation, substations and electrical infrastructure
Strong commercial understanding of cost control, valuations, variations, claims, procurement and subcontractor management
Candy/CCS is a must
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Well-rounded QS with a practical, hands-on approach
Self-driven, energetic and willing to take ownership
Good communication and negotiation skills
