Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client, a respected Building & Civil Contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible. The role involves preparing BOQs, cost estimates and interim valuations, monitoring costs, managing subcontractor procurement, and preparing final accounts.

A minimum 5 years’ QS experience and a relevant qualification are required, with a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Experience with cost control, valuations, subcontractor administration and variation orders.
• Knowledge of payment certificates, cost reporting and final accounts.
• Valid driver's licence (essential).
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities
