Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to design, specify, build, configure, and test solutions that enable quality, client-centric capabilities for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Devise pricing and risk management solutions, including related IT processes, maintenance, testing, and support.
  2. Construct and analyze financial models such as product pricing, curve stripping, and scenario analysis.
  3. Engage in process design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting in pricing and risk analysis.
  4. Analyze system capabilities and fit within the pricing and risk analysis domain.
  5. Analyze data, identify problems, reason logically, and draw valid conclusions.
  6. Design, implement, and validate software applications.
  7. Manage recurring production incidents by collaborating with stakeholders.
  8. Explore macro-environment trends and opportunities to add value.
  9. Recommend process and system improvements.
  10. Participate in collaborative sessions to enhance understanding of the work environment.
  11. Engage with stakeholders to understand business changes impacting technology.
  12. Review demand items and understand impacts on systems and processes.
  13. Create roadmaps for business development and system enhancements.
  14. Identify service gaps and assess technology application impacts.
  15. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  16. Coordinate with service providers and monitor benefits against business cases.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Finance or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Preferred: Post-graduate qualification in Mathematical Finance or similar.

Experience & Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a relevant environment, including 1-2 years at a junior specialist level.
  • Experience in designing and implementing integrated solutions and quantitative systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Multi-asset class and trade lifecycle knowledge is advantageous.
  • Business process modeling and data validation capabilities.
