Job description

What You Will Enjoy Doing

  1. Measurement and Testing
  2. Ensure that all required measurements (dimensional, functional, and visual attributes) are performed and recorded according to schedule, meeting internal and customer requirements.
  3. Maintain optimal performance and calibration checks on quality-related equipment.
  4. Manage customer relationships regarding Quality issues.
  5. Collaborate with production and customers to optimize process settings during sampling and product qualification.
  6. Quality and Food Safety Systems
  7. Ensure compliance with statutory (ISO, FSSC) and ALPLA system requirements.
  8. Assist in hazard analysis, HACCP, PRP assessments, and implement corrective actions.
  9. Documentation
  10. Maintain signed customer product specifications and develop internal specifications.
  11. Facilitate Root Cause Analysis involving relevant departments for corrective actions.
  12. Quality Control
  13. Assess test plans for statutory, customer, and internal requirements.
  14. Monitor online testing through SPC data analysis.
  15. Promote quality and food safety mindset among plant employees and perform routine line inspections.
  16. Colour of Products
  17. Ensure appropriate colour matching during product start-up.
  18. People Management
  19. Lead by example, hold regular team meetings, and ensure efficient teamwork.
  20. Recruit new employees in the area of responsibility.

What makes you great

  • 4-year degree in chemistry, science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with physical lab testing equipment and CMM.
  • At least 5 years in Quality Control, Assurance, and Food Safety, with leadership experience as a QA Supervisor.
