Quality Manager (Engineering)

To lead, direct, and control the planning, implementation, and optimization of the quality processes to meet the organisation's quality objectives.

Requirements :

1. Degree / National Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering
2. 5+ Years of experience working with ISO as a QA professional, ideally in low-volume electronics and/or mechanical manufacturing firm.
3. Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) advantageous
4. Experience with AS advantageous
5. 3+ years of experience in managing quality processes advantageous
6. 1+ years of experience in deploying QMS across an organization advantageous
7. Prior work experience in the aerospace industry advantageous
8. Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter advantageous
9. Technical competencies include reading and understanding drawings and specifications, MS Office proficiency, and a good knowledge of ISO and QMS.
10. Knowledge of configuration systems and good communication and administrative skills.

Key responsibilities :

1. Oversee the quality inspection function.
2. Plan, develop, and lead the team in delivering products with the correct quality.
3. Define, implement, maintain, and improve a QMS that meets industry standards.
4. Support and lead internal/external audits to ensure compliance, including AS and customer-specific requirements.
5. Lead continuous improvement efforts in production and engineering.
6. Establish and implement processes for root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality failures.
7. Ensure monitoring processes are defined and implemented for vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
8. Maintain and upgrade calibration systems for tools and equipment.
9. Participate in design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
