Hiring : Quality and Research & Development Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality and R&D Assistant to join our dynamic team in the cosmetics industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality assurance with exposure to product development processes. This dual-role position will support both Quality Control and Research & Development functions, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, innovative cosmetic products.

Minimum Requirements :

A relevant degree or diploma in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in the cosmetic or personal care industry.

Technical knowledge of quality control processes and testing methodologies.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail to detect and address product defects.

Leadership skills to provide clear instructions to the manufacturing team and ensure compliance.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Knowledge of ISO 22716 and GMP standards is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Quality Assurance Duties :

Participate in routine quality control analyses of raw materials, bulk, and finished goods.

Coordinate and assist in sending products for third-party testing.

Assist in bulk batch adjustments based on testing results.

Troubleshoot product issues in collaboration with production and technical teams.

Maintain up-to-date quality records and documentation.

Monitor and ensure adherence to quality control standards across the production process.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold product integrity.

Research & Development Duties :

Assist with sample development and stability testing for new and existing formulations.

Request, track, and catalogue specification documents for new raw materials.

Generate batch manufacturing instructions for approved formulations.

Maintain and update Product Information Files (PIFs) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
