Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Quality In-Service Trainee in Port Elizabeth, SA. You will work in a micro/analytical laboratory, sampling raw materials and packaging, releasing materials in SAP, and supporting GLP audits.

The role focuses on building quality assurance skills through on-the-job learning and cross-functional collaboration with R&D personnel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Studying towards or have a Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Consumer Science, Microbiology or Analytical chemistry.
• GLP knowledge and audits may be involved.
• Experience with analytical/micro labs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze samples for analytical or microbiology laboratory parameters.
• Collect and sample raw materials and packaging materials.
• Release packaging materials in SAP.
• Read, capture, and communicate results to manufacturing and supporting functions.
• Prepare media and reagents required for testing (Microlab).
• Adhere to GLP and participate in GLP audits by providing support to close audit findings.

+ Releasing of packaging materials on SAP.
+ Read, capture, and communicate results to manufacturing and supporting functions.
+ Prepare media and reagents required for testing - Microlab
+ Adhere to GLP and participate in GLP audits by providing support to close audit findings.
+ Communicating with other departments concerning quality and processing issues.
