Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector position available in Somerset West.

A renowned international Engineering company is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area, Cape Town.

Position Requirements:

• Completed industrial / technical vocational training.
• Qualification in Engineering advantageous.
• Experience and good expertise in the field of quality assurance.
• Good knowledge of MS 365, SAP and TeamCenter.
• Knowledge of the DIN EN ISO 9001, 9100, 14001, 9102 standards is desirable.
• Familiar with LEAN methodologies.
• Good works with 3D data and Drawings.
• A valid passport.
• Willing to go for training in Germany for a period of 2-3 months.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours/location.
• Good analytical skills with above-average problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Independence, accuracy, diligence and flexibility.
• Ability to work in a team and deal with conflict.
• Strong and resilient against outer influence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve and ask constantly for processes and process improvements.
• Conduct of CSi on site.
• Complete acceptance of the shells and individual components.
• Inspection of painted parts.
• Inspection of the foiled parts.
• Inspection of FAIR documentation.
• Clarification of complaints with Engineering.
• Accompanying stage inspections (moulding, machining, bonding).
• Inspection and approval of rework + documentation (Mantis, Jira).
• Training of employees (production and quality).
• Status submission.
