Mondeléz International in South Africa is seeking an Apprentice (Fixed Term) in our Sub Saharan Africa operations to join a diverse team focused on quality and continuous improvement. You will gain hands-on experience with lab testing, materials analysis, and GMP practices.

You will monitor samples, sample raw materials, release packaging on SAP, read, capture and communicate results, and support GLP audits while collaborating with multiple departments to ensure product quality and process

Qualifications

• Studying towards or hold a Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Consumer Science, Microbiology or Analytical Chemistry.
• Interest in quality assurance and GMP practices.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and analyze samples for analytical, microbiological, or packaging parameters.
• Sample raw materials and packaging materials.
• Release packaging materials on SAP.
• Read, capture, and communicate results to manufacturing and supporting functions.
• Prepare media and reagents required for testing.
• Adhere to GLP and participate in GLP audits by supporting closure of findings.
• Communicate with other departments about quality and processing issues.

• Build expertise in a wide range of equipment and technologies, utilising database programs and supporting our drive for producing products first time right.


• Support the implementation of breakthrough technologies, commissioning new equipment, supporting Factory acceptance testing and Process Validation.


• Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement within the laboratories.


• Build quality assurance skills through on the job learning.

Education / Certifications
