To plan, define, co-ordinate and be accountable for Quality audits and inspections in Press, Body, Paint and Assembly shops. To maintain and improve product surface quality and mechanical joints by monitoring and reporting on non–conformances and processes. Drive product improvements based on top faults detected by investigating root causes and initiating corrective actions to meet Konzern Quality standards and provide continuous improvements.
Possible Tasks within this Role
Establishing root causes and implement corrective actions for allocated quality problems.
Interfacing with various departments within the company.
Present findings / reports at various forums and management structures.
Liaising with overseas counterparts with regard to build / quality matters.
Co-ordinate and be accountable for Quality issues.
Lead cross functional teams when required.
Monitor and reporting of non-conformances and processes to drive early detection and initiate corrective actions.
Qualification Requirements
Have a minimum National Diploma in one of the following engineering sciences (ND Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy).
Experience needed: 3 - 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry.
Good report writing and presentation skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing processes.
