Establishing root causes and implement corrective actions for allocated quality problems.
Interfacing with various departments within the Group.
Present findings/reports at various forums and management structures.
Liaising with overseas counterparts with regard to build/quality matters.
Co-ordinate and be accountable for Quality issues.
Lead cross-functional teams when required.
Monitor and report on non-conformances and processes to drive early detection and initiate corrective actions.
Plan, define, coordinate, and take accountability for quality audits and inspections across Press, Body, Paint, and Assembly shops.
Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of product surface quality and mechanical joints.
Drive product improvements by identifying top recurring faults, investigating root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
Align all quality initiatives with Konzern Quality Standards, promoting continuous improvement across all production areas.
Qualification requirements
Have a minimum National Diploma in one of the following engineering sciences (ND Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy).
Experience needed
Have 3-5 years experience within the manufacturing industry.
Have good report writing and presentation skills.
Have proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing processes.
Sound problem-solving skills and Quality Tools e.g., Fishbone, FMEA, SPC & DOE.
Experience in interpreting measuring reports and technical drawings.
Proficiency in database software packages (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.).
Be assertive and have the ability to motivate.
Be a team player and be able to work under pressure.
In-depth knowledge of bolting equipment and applications inclusive of monitoring systems and controls.

BSc Degree/B-Tech Mechanical/Metallurgy or Mechatronics Engineering.
