Job description

Flavour manufacturer has a vacancy for a Quality Controller who can develop further within this very fast-paced environment. This candidate will have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written, will maintain a master and retention library, and manage incoming raw material and final products. POSITION INFO :

Responsibilities :

1. QC Final product against master sample
2. Conduct sensory and chemical analysis
3. Develop COA & Product Specification
4. Capturing of QC results on internal system
5. Filing of production sheets
6. Continuous updating of raw materials information on internal system
7. Maintenance of supplier quality assurance program
8. Regularity compliance e.g. Kosher & Halaal
9. Maintenance of filing system, both hard copy and digital – production sheets, supplier COA’s, Kosher & Halaal Certificates etc.
10. Conduct taste panels when needed
11. Assist with customer queries and complaints

Requirements :

1. Degree in Food Science / Consumer Science or relevant tertiary qualification
2. 1 - 2 years’ experience in QC
3. Good command of the English language
4. Understand customer requirements
5. Knowledge of food safety
6. Flavour background will be beneficial
