Job Title : Quality Controller

Location : Centurion & Silverton

Salary : Market related

Vacancy Type : Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required :

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Diploma or equivalent in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in Quality Management or Quality Assurance (e.g., Lead Quality Auditor, Internal Auditor, or Certified Quality Engineer).
• 2+ years proven experience in quality control or assurance.

Beneficial requirements :

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards (ISO, SACAA regulations).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and quality improvement methodologies.
• Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inspection and documentation.

Duties and responsibilities :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulations.

• Reporting to Quality Assurance and Certification Manager.
• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
• Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
