Quality Inspector / Quality ControllerReference : PE-GS-1We are seeking a suitably qualified Quality Inspector / Quality Controller with 5 years of working experience in a General & Precision Engineering environment.Location : Paarden Eiland, Cape TownDuties & ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the control quality records for projects (on-site and suppliers)Generate project-quality documentationManage project quality assurance - liaise with suppliers and project teams on quality requirementsCommunicate quality records to the project team and maintain quality records on-siteConduct quality inspections of projectsEnsure customer specifications comply with the company's standard quality requirementsPrepare Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test ProceduresPrepare standard quality control and assurance proceduresData book management for subcontractors and suppliersFabrication quality inspectionsCreate and maintain inspection documentationInspect and release all productsEnsure that suppliers have the required quality documentationAssess the suitability of suppliersAttend kick-off meetings with suppliers, project teams, and clientsVerify and manage supplier recordsCheck and manage the contents of Data BooksPrepare quality status reportsPrepare and control Project Quality Control PlansAssist with ISO Quality, Environment, and Safety Standards implementation and upgradingReview and evaluate quality performance and initiate corrective actionEnsure compliance with the company's quality management systemDesired Experience & QualificationEngineering / Quality Control qualificationAt least 5 years experience in a similar roleAble to create, control, and manage quality control procedures and processesValid driver's licenseClear credit and criminal recordPackage & RemunerationR - R - Monthly
