Position Overview
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all inventory stored within, and products produced by Armorock meet acceptable quality standards. Responsibilities include inbound shipment review, outbound product inspection, data entry, report compilation, process observation, inventory review, safety, and internal communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Service Delivery (80%)
- Perform pre-pour, post-pour, process, and final inspection of products.
- Initiate non-conformance reports.
- Perform receiving inspection and analysis of materials upon receipt.
- Assist QA Techs in the collection of quality data for analysis.
- Observe and support standardized manufacturing processes.
- Enter quality data into the database.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Continuous Process Improvement (10%)- Maintain SLAs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive improvements in process clarity and measurement across the organization.
Collaboration and Research (10%)- Collaborate with corporate functions to implement policy, procedure, and process changes.
- Work with data owners/stewards to address process and data issues.
- Respond to questions and follow up on escalations.

Determine operational improvements to enhance production quality aligned with strategic vision. Utilize manufacturing knowledge to drive quality and consistency. Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or associate degree in construction precast manufacturing.
- Experience: 1-3 years in Quality field.
- Certifications: Familiarity with ISO, NPCA, or other standards preferred.
- Travel: No major travel required.
Key Skills
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
- Familiarity with quality assurance documentation and procedures.
- Computer literate and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional overtime.
- Experience in precast concrete or heavy industry preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques.
Environment and Equipment
Onsite at manufacturing plant. Operates computer, phone, forklift. Must be able to bend, lift heavy boxes, and remain standing/moving for 50-75% of the time.
