Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for our Richards Bay plant to ensure products meet stringent specifications. You will perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests, document results, and collaborate with production to address deviations.

This on-site role requires a sharp eye for detail, experience with QA methods, reading blueprints, and using calipers/micrometers. You will help maintain records, support audits, and contribute to continuous quality

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using various inspection tools and measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams.
• Basic computer literacy, including experience with data entry or quality management software.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy items, and work in a manufacturing setting.
• A strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Role
