Job description
  • Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology or similar
  • 35 years experience in food / Agri-processing (macadamia / nut industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSSC, and GLOBAL G.A.P.
  • Lead auditor or similar certification is advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee quality control in macadamia processing (raw material to final product)
  • Implement and manage food safety systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, GLOBALG.A.P.)
  • Ensure compliance with local and export food safety regulations
  • Manage internal and external audits for certifications.
  • Lead hygiene, pest control, sanitation, and traceability processes
  • Handle non-conformances, recalls, and customer complaints
  • Train and supervise QC and food safety teams
  • Liaise with auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies
