Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Engineer for their Port Elizabeth-based manufacturing team. You will develop and implement rigorous QC procedures, monitor production processes, and analyze quality data to identify and rectify defects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with production and engineering to resolve issues, uphold ISO 9001 standards, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic Port Elizabeth industrial hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control/quality assurance role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and SPC; capable of root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished goods.
