Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Food Tech / Biotech / Food & Nutrition / Analytical Chemistry
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing sector is essential
- Assertive with the ability to manage, maintain, and meet customer requirements
- Strong analytical, communication, conflict management, and report writing skills
Job Duties:
- Perform routine and ad-hoc analysis and testing of raw materials, oil components, and finished products according to work instructions and supervisor’s guidance
- Report non-conformance issues promptly
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to support testing procedures and improve efficiency, documenting all actions and solutions
- Complete production line checks and inspections as per instructions
- Prepare samples for evaluation and routine testing
- Conduct shift tests for production
- Record testing results accurately in the relevant management systems
- Maintain statistical records and prepare lab samples
- Ensure lab equipment is well-maintained and calibrated
- Verify product, equipment, and stockpile compliance to standards
- Communicate findings to management clearly
- Raise NCRs and document corrective actions appropriately
- Support QA, food safety, and quality audits
- Conduct pre-start checks on production equipment and document findings
- Perform inspections to ensure GMP, CCP, and housekeeping standards
- Support sampling and online QC activities as required
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products
- Ensure traceability of ingredients and products
- Complete microbiological swabbing weekly as scheduled
- Adhere to manufacturing practices and safety standards
- Respond to breakdowns promptly
- Collect and analyze lab and oil samples accurately and on time
- Escalate issues to supervisors or managers
- Participate in daily production meetings and communicate relevant information
- Maintain a safe working environment and work shifts/overtime as required
- Participate in stock counts and adhere to food safety policies
- Uphold company values and undertake other tasks as instructed
