WatersEdge Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer to join a growing team supporting innovative incentive technology solutions. This is an opportunity to help shape the quality standards of a high-impact product used by companies globally to manage complex share incentive schemes.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with developers, quality engineers, and product managers to ensure every feature released is tested thoroughly, behaves as expected, and maintains client trust. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys manual testing, exploring edge cases, and improving systems with methodical, user-focused thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Create thorough test plans from early-stage specs, including edge cases and regressions
• Manually test features in staging environments and simulate real-world use cases
• Validate multi-tenant configurations and ensure consistent module behavior
• Test sensitive financial workflows (e.g., vesting, leaver workflows, accounting exports)
• Document and reproduce bugs with clarity and precision
• Maintain a core regression suite and coordinate final checks before releases
• Collaborate with developers, QREs, and PMs on acceptance criteria and automation strategy

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of QA, software testing, or product validation experience
• Strong manual testing skills with attention to detail and edge case identification
• Experience with web applications that include complex business logic
• Clear communicator with ability to write effective bug reports and test cases
• Familiarity with GitHub, staging environments, and web-based admin tools

Nice to Have

• Exposure to multi-tenant or B2B SaaS platforms
• Understanding of Django admin, relational databases, and permissions
• Knowledge of HR, payroll, or accounting systems
• Experience with Postman, Selenium, or Cypress (even basic)
• Ability to read API specs and interpret logs (e.g., Sentry, console output)
