Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Durban. This senior role leads a team of QA professionals, drives continuous improvement, and ensures regulatory compliance and patient safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or a related field, with at least 7 years in QA in pharma and 3+ in management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external audits, and host regulatory inspections to ensure compliance.


• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.


• Extensive knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements (e.g., SAHPRA, FDA, EMA), and quality assurance principles.


• Proven experience in managing audits, inspections, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
