Job summary

IQVIA is actively seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector in Cape Town to maintain high product standards by conducting thorough inspections and tests across the manufacturing process. You will identify defects, ensure specifications are met, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

The role requires experience in quality control within manufacturing, the ability to read technical drawings, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality control role.
• Familiarity with quality control tools, techniques, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Utilize various measurement and testing tools to assess product conformity.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate appropriate corrective actions or quarantine procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventative measures.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality management systems.
