A leading company in the SETA environment is seeking a Quality Assurance Certificate Administrator for a contract role based in Parktown, Johannesburg. The position involves administrative functions related to certification processes, requiring meticulous record-keeping, stakeholder coordination, and compliance checks. Ideal candidates will have a National Diploma and at least two years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Our client in the SETA environment is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Certificate Administrator to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities :
Administrative Functions :
Maintain accurate records of applications, serial numbers, and issued certificates.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of certification processes.
Organize and manage filing systems for trade test reports and certificates.
Verify and submit trade test certificates to the relevant authority (NAMB).
Assist with quarterly reporting for Apprenticeship and ARPL / RPL targets.
Trade Test and Certification Process :
Verify that all required documentation is provided for serial number applications.
Confirm the accreditation status of training or assessment centres with QCTO.
Complete compliance checks before issuing serial numbers.
Generate and issue serial numbers to trade test centres.
Prepare and submit trade certification applications to NAMB.
Track and follow up on application progress.
Notify centres / candidates of certificate awards and handle certificate dispatch.
Submit all related documentation as required.
Communication and Stakeholder Support :
Implement communication strategies related to certification processes.
Engage effectively with candidates, training providers, and regulatory bodies.
Assist with stakeholder walk-ins at the head office when needed.
Requirements
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) – preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance and / or Certification within a SETA environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of QCTO, SAQA, and NAMB standards is essential.

Working Conditions :
Office-based in Parktown, Johannesburg (no hybrid option).
Office hours : Monday to Friday, 08 : 00 – 16 : 30.
Domestic travel may be required, including occasional weekends.
A valid Code 8 Driver’s License is mandatory.
