Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-related treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor and assess patients’ physical and emotional status before, during, and after treatment.
  • Manage side effects and complications associated with cancer therapies.
  • Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, and home care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with hospital and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Offer psychological and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the cancer journey.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay updated with new oncology practices and treatment protocols.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of cytotoxic drugs.
