QUALIFIED MECHANIC / EAST LONDON

Requirements:

Trade Qualified Mechanic (Trade Test to be submitted with application)

Must be physically fit as many tasks require a lot of physical effort, such as removing heavy components or maneuvering parts into place.

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic (preferably 5+ years)

Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and old-school repair methods

Skilled in using manual tools and equipment

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical intuition

Good communication and work ethic

Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles

Diagnose mechanical issues

Rebuild engines, carburetors, gearboxes, and suspension systems

Conduct inspections and tune-ups

Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

Maintain a clean and organized workshop

Salary: R15,000 nett/take home per month
