COMPANY DESCRIPTION : Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries.

They are looking for a Client Liaison Officer to join their Johannesburg team.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel
2. Conducting business reviews to ensure client satisfaction with products and services
3. Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients
4. Informing customers about other products the company offers
5. Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts
6. Achieving client relationship targets and KPIs set by the Commercial Director
7. Working closely with Sales Representatives
8. Escalating and resolving areas of concern raised by clients
9. Carrying out client satisfaction surveys and reviews
10. Updating management and ensuring sales representatives are aware of changes within clients
11. Passing leads to the sales team and following up on progress

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

1. Matric
2. Marketing related qualification (beneficial)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

1. 2 – 3 Years' marketing experience within a FMCG environment
2. Strong marketing skills
3. Computer literate
4. Valid driver's license + own transport (non-negotiable)
