Job summary

SA Metal Group is seeking an experienced immigration advisor in Cape Town to provide legal guidance on SA immigration matters to corporate and individual clients. You will assess visa options, draft and review applications, and ensure compliance with regulations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong research and drafting skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining client relationships and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of SA immigration experience with legal drafting and advisory work.
• LLB preferred; diploma/degree in law with practical immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SA immigration legislation, regulations and compliance.
• Experience advising corporate and individual clients on visa options.
• Experience preparing temp and permanent residence applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; meticulous and accurate.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain client relationships.

• 4-6 Years of relevant South African Immigration experience. Including legal research, interpretation of legislation, drafting, and immigration advisory services.
• An LLB is preferred; alternatively, a diploma or degree in law, legal studies, or a related field, supported by substantial practical immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African immigration legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience advising corporate and individual clients on immigration matters, visa options, and work authorisation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing temporary and permanent residence applications and supporting documentation.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and document review skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
