QHSE Manager (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) - Kempton Park

Introduction

A Logistics Company is looking for a QHSE Manager (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Experience
2. Minimum 4 years’ experience in QHSE system implementation and maintenance in Logistics, Transport, Industrial Projects, FMCG, Pharma or Medical Devices.
3. At least 1 year in a similar professional capacity.
4. Experience in logistics is highly advantageous.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
6. Skills & Knowledge
7. Familiar with ISO Standards: 9001, 14001, 13485, 45001, GDP, GMP.
8. Strong in CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions), NC (Non-Conformance), and Audit Management.
9. Certification in industrial or transportation safety management.
10. Proficiency in MS Office and QHSE digital tools.
11. What You’ll Be Doing
12. Implement and enforce the national QHSE strategy in alignment with regional and global standards.
13. Act as the liaison between regional and country teams to ensure integrated management systems (IMS) are in place and certification standards are maintained.
14. Ensure full compliance with Customer and Supplier Quality governance requirements.
15. Develop and manage the country risk profile and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
16. Track and report on QHSE data, KPIs, and performance metrics at a country level.
17. Lead investigations into incidents and non-conformities, ensuring root causes are identified and addressed.
18. Foster a culture of QHSE excellence and support staffing requirements across QHSE teams.
19. Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 45001, GDP, GMP).
20. Coordinate national plans related to:

• Internal & external audit programs
• QHSE training
• Digital tools (e.g., Intelex, digital inductions)
• ISO compliance
• Emergency and business continuity planning
• Cross-audits and customer-driven QHSE needs

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management.
• Environmental Management Qualification.
• Quality Management Qualification.
