Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a QA Product Release Pharmacist based in Gauteng, Midrand. You will be responsible for the release of imported products, medical devices, and critical starting materials to ensure safety, quality and efficacy, while reviewing documentation and maintaining lab records and samples.

The role requires SA Pharmacist registration, GMP/GLP exposure, and strong QA and regulatory skills to support post-import exemptions and release specifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist in South Africa (SA) with GMP/GLP exposure.
• Experience in release of imported products, medical devices, or critical starting materials.

Responsabilités

• Review import data for compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Apply and maintain post-importation exemptions where applicable.
• Ensure laboratory methods align with registered methods.

Job Description

Main Purpose of Job:
Responsible for the release of all imported products, medical devices, and critical starting materials/consumables to ensure product safety, quality, and efficacy. Review and release TPN documentation as required. Maintain all laboratories, records, and samples related to release.
Key Responsibilities:

• Release of import product ensuring compliance with logistics and marketing demand.
• Review data related to import product for safety, quality, and efficacy.
• Application for and maintenance of post importation exemptions.
• Ensure methods used by laboratory are in accordance with registered methods.
• Update product release specifications as required.
• Manage samples to avoid unnecessary product release delays.
