Essential Requirement :

Showcase an estimate of 3 years proven Pharmaceutical Vendor Supplier Audit experience and Vendor Management, conducting and leading supplier audits independently within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector (e.g., Contract Testing Laboratories, Transportation and Logistics Providers, Packaging Material Suppliers, Contract Packaging Organizations, etc.). Experience in these areas is non-negotiable. Auditing these external vendor suppliers helps pharmaceutical companies maintain control over their supply chain, mitigate risks, and uphold product quality and safety standards.

Are you a detail-oriented pharmacist with a passion for quality assurance?

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Pharmacist to join our multinational pharmaceutical client's team in Johannesburg and lead external supplier audits.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Quality Agreements : Initiate and maintain Quality / Service Level Agreements for all GXP Suppliers. Review SLAs every 3 years and update the Approved Supplier list. Ensure all agreements are filed centrally.
  2. Audits : Develop an annual audit plan, execute audits, report findings, and close observations promptly. Conduct process, departmental, or supplier audits as needed and participate in corporate and regulatory audits.
  3. KPI Reporting & Annual Quality Management Review : Provide inputs for KPI reports, prepare slides for review meetings, and maintain a supplier evaluation and approval system. Coordinate corrective actions based on supplier performance.
  4. Standard Operating Procedures : Ensure SOPs are initiated, updated, and current. Review and adopt global SOPs locally as necessary.
  5. Quality Systems : Investigate and follow up on Risk Assessments, CAPA, Change Controls, and Events to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
  6. Product Release : Review Batch Manufacturing Records and Batch Release Logs before product release. Process product release transactions promptly.
  7. General : Support the Senior Quality Systems Manager, assist with QA documentation, conduct investigations, and maintain positive relationships internally and externally. Complete training as scheduled.
Education :

Formal Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy

Skills & Experience :

2-3 years' experience as a Vendor Supplier Auditor in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, quality auditing, and supplier management. Understanding of legislation and regulatory processes relevant to manufacturing pharmacy.
