Job summary

Open Box Software, LLC is seeking a QA Engineer to join on a permanent basis. This hands-on role focuses on designing, writing and maintaining automated test suites and leading QA initiatives across client projects.

You will work with Playwright or similar frameworks, automate tests for React applications, and apply AI tools to improve speed, coverage and quality of testing. Collaboration with developers, analysts, PMs and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' QA engineering experience.
• Demonstrable experience with Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Experience automating tests for React applications.
• Practical, hands-on AI experience in testing context.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable engaging with business stakeholders.
• Ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain and improve automated test suites across client projects.
• Build out and extend Playwright or similar test frameworks.
• Design and implement automated tests for applications across technologies.
• Lead QA initiatives, setting standards and best practices.
• Apply AI tools to improve testing speed and coverage.
• Review requirements and design docs for testability.
• Identify, document and track defects throughout testing.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, PMs and clients to embed quality.
• Investigate and document better practices for future delivery.
