Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Engineer in the Investor Reporting delivery team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our cutting-edge software products. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you will collaborate closely with project delivery team consultants, designers, managers, and our clients to maintain the highest standards of quality throughout the agile software configuration lifecycle for multiple clients. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Design & Execute Test Plans: Translate complex client and platform requirements into comprehensive test plans and test cases, aligned with project goals and timelines.
2. Manual Testing Excellence: Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and exploratory testing across client configurations — ensuring client-facing reports and portals meet expectations.
3. Defect Tracking & Communication: Log, track, and triage defects in Jira; collaborate with consultants and developers to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
4. Client-Facing QA Leadership: Run test plan reviews, defect walkthroughs, and test sign-off sessions with clients. Facilitate alignment on acceptance criteria and quality expectations.
5. Document Test Artefacts: Use Xray for Jira to create and manage test repositories, executions, and reports that serve both internal and client-facing needs.
6. Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute to QA team rituals, retrospectives, and process enhancement. Stay current with QA trends and advocate for smarter testing practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

1. A relevant degree (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience (minimum 3 years in a QA role).
2. Proven ability to test complex business processes and data-heavy applications.
3. Experience with structured test design, execution, and defect management tools (ideally Jira and Xray).
4. Strong stakeholder communication skills — comfortable running workshops, demos, and walkthroughs with clients.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying issues and validating functionality.
6. Familiarity with software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum), and STLC best practices.
7. Exposure to automation testing tools such as Playwright (or similar) is a bonus.
8. Background in Financial Services, Business Analysis, or Project Delivery is a bonus.
