The role will be charged with writing scripts and creating automation environments for repeated tests from project inception right through to production.

Our QA's test to the best of their ability to ensure the highest level of quality in our digital products.

Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code.

Our intermediates are expected to spend most of their time testing in multiple applications from front to back-end.

The ideal candidate will come with a natural curiosity and analytical nature.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with management, while also thriving autonomously.
2. Participate in all testing activities, working closely with software development engineers, database, UI design, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, maintainable automation framework and test cases.
3. Undertake all system test-related activities in support of our client's products.
4. Understand system requirements and create test cases.
5. Drive QA best practices, procedures, and standards and apply them to the testing process.
6. Contribute to the wider quality function, improving automation testing strategy, with a strong focus on integration, regression, and functional testing.
7. Understand requirements, articulate options and solutions, and participate in the decision-making process related to platform architecture.
8. Proactively identify and determine solutions to obstacles during the testing and development process.
9. Work closely with Product Management and Project Management to deliver sprints/releases on time that meet or exceed documented requirements and expectations.
10. Represent QA in cross-functional team meetings.

Qualifications:

1. Demonstrable experience designing and implementing automation frameworks, preferably Playwright or similar.
2. Extensive experience testing web applications.
3. History implementing reliable test automation (unit/integration/regression) into CI/CD.
4. Proven experience implementing quality as a mindset within a fast-moving organisation.
5. Effective communicator with an ability to influence.

Skills:

1. Skills with Playwright or other testing frameworks.
2. Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology, both manual and automated testing.
