Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12, Quality or Analytic Chemistry Diploma or Degree
- Quality Management System (QMS) qualification preferred
- Experience with QMS via ISO or PICS guidelines
- More than 4 years of experience in quality assurance in a lab setting (required)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with all QA functions
- Data Management: Generate or input results sheets following analysis, especially for data not automatically captured by LIMS
- Support lab staff and Operations Manager with registration of stability samples
- Ensure accurate sample identification and labeling
- Maintain logs for sample receipts and disbursements
- Oversee test allocation based on client requests
- QMS: Support waste management and calibration of laboratory instruments
- Ensure the Approved Suppliers List is current
- Maintain records of Technical Quality Agreements and Supplier Agreements
- Monitor laboratory temperature logs
- Provide monthly updates on CAPAs, OOS results, deviations, incidents, and client complaints
- Update training matrices and file assessments and certificates
- Document Control: Process and distribute client results, scan and forward, and share with invoicing
- Maintain registers for Certificates of Analysis and MSDS
- Ensure thorough filing of all documentation
- Prepare and digitize reports for storage and archiving
- Manage digital archives and version control of analytical methods
