Job description

One of our clients, a trailblazing fintech company expanding across Africa, is seeking a QA & Support Analyst to safeguard their growing platform. You will test, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, contributing directly to their expansion across Zambia, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya.

Responsibilities

• Own second-line support and perform root cause analysis.
• Design and execute test plans, scripts, and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to improve performance, stability, and support.
• Provide weekend standby support for critical issues.
• Ensure software is bug-free, secure, and ready for release.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years in QA or support roles (experience in both is a plus).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience in root cause analysis, regression testing, and bug tracking.
• Strong documentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for clean releases, scalable platforms, and Africa's fintech growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification or certification in Quality Assurance.
• ISTQB Certification is required.
