Position: Python BI Developer / Data Scientist / Data Analyst

Position Details

• Office Based (Monday - Friday) - No remote work
• Type: Permanent, full-time
• Location: Centurion, Gauteng
• Salary: R 30,000 basic per month
• Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining a Business Intelligence System
• Reporting assistance across various projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and R programming languages
• Experience with MS SQL and NoSQL databases
• Diploma or Degree in Information Systems
• Knowledge of BI reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
• Data warehouse design experience
• Azure cloud computing, data lake, and analysis services (added advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and beneficial skills in Power Automate, Forms, Dataverse
• Ability to read and create Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and database structures
• Ability to draft technical documents and SOPs
• Knowledge of data requirements, reporting, and data warehousing
• Experience in updating and improving data and reports
• Ability to document report requirements and ensure relevance through continuous communication
