PYTHON BI DEVELOPER / DATA SCIENTIST / DATA ANALYST
OFFICE BASED POSITION (MONDAY - FRIDAY) - NO REMOTE WORKING

Appointment: Permanent, full-time position.
Area: Centurion, Gauteng
Salary: R 30 basic per month
Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and maintaining a Business Intelligence System.
2. Reporting to assist in various projects:

• Python
• R (programming language)
• MS SQL
• NoSQL

Qualifications:

1. Diploma / Degree in Information Systems
2. BI Reporting (Power BI will be an added advantage)
3. Data warehouse design
4. Azure cloud computing – added advantage
5. Azure data lake and database
6. Azure analysis and integration services

Beneficial Skills:

1. Microsoft Power Automate
2. Microsoft Forms
3. Microsoft Dataverse
4. Working knowledge of other BI technologies
5. Ability to read and create Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD)
6. Analytical skills (Information processing)
7. Interpersonal skills
8. Good understanding of IT Infrastructure
9. Good understanding of Microsoft applications and SQL Databases
10. Competent in problem solving (problem analysis)
11. Ability to update and draft technical Documents - SOP
12. Apply company ISO policies relating to data / reporting and confidentiality
13. Understanding of data requirements
14. Knowledge of database structure and where relevant data resides
15. Envision optimal structure for reporting
16. Data warehousing appropriate to report requirements
17. Knowledge of current dataset portfolio
18. Ability to update / improve current data for various functions
19. Understanding of report requirements
20. Documentation of report requirements and usage / explanation
21. Continuous feedback / communication and confirmation of report relevance
22. Knowledge of current reporting portfolio – ability to update / improve current reports for various functions
