Job purpose

To manage the planning, design and implementation of electrical infrastructure for secondary electrical networks to ensure sufficient, reliable and safe capacity on new and existing electrical networks

• An appropriate three-year career-related tertiary qualification (national diploma or degree), BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering or any other electrical engineering-related study field
• Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Engineering Technologist will be an added advantage
• At least seven years’ relevant working experience in a project management environment
• Managerial experience will be an added advantage
• A valid Code B driving licence
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and standby as and when required
• Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
