The EMAP PR (Public Relations) Manager will be instrumental in shaping and driving the company's external communication strategy, with a strong focus on thought leadership to elevate the brand's presence and engagement. The role includes the development of high-impact content and robust media channel strategies, ensuring that our brand message is consistent, timely, and relevant. The EMEA and PR manager will closely collaborate with local teams and manage the regional PR agency to ensure consistent execution of the PR Regional strategy.
- Develop and execute a regional communication strategy that aligns with our corporate objectives and enhances our position across markets;
- Collaborate with executive leadership to disseminate visionary statements, opinion pieces, and research that position the company as a forward-thinking leader in Data and Technology;
- Ensure messaging is consistent yet tailored to meet regional needs and cultural nuances.
Media Relations and Outreach
- Lead regional media relations strategy to improve visibility and media coverage across regions;
- Manage the Regional PR agency to ensure consistency in public relations efforts;
- Draft press materials including press releases, fact sheets, bios, backgrounders, etc.;
- Coordinate approvals, translations, and distribution of press releases;
- Secure and manage media coverage for company announcements, events, and thought leadership;
- Respond to media inquiries effectively;
- Represent the region in the global PR community's bi-weekly stand-up calls;
- Work with executives to craft key messages and prepare for interviews and public appearances;
- Create compelling advertorials aligned with the brand and target B2B audience;
- Optimize content for various channels, maintaining a cohesive brand voice;
- Collaborate with content and SEO teams to enhance search engine visibility;
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams like sales, product marketing, and social media.
Crisis Communication and Reputation Management
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies aligned with stakeholder needs;
- Create and maintain crisis communication materials in collaboration with leadership, including press releases, FAQs, and talking points.
Analytics and Impact Assessment
- Report regularly on communication impacts to senior stakeholders and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- BA (MA preferred) in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Multimedia, Humanistic Studies, or related fields;
- 5-7+ years of experience in corporate communications within the B2B sector;
- Proven international experience and media relations expertise;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
- Fluent in English; additional major language skills are a plus;
- Strong ability to produce high-quality, data-driven content;
- Experience in complex organizations and cross-functional project coordination with senior leaders.
