Job summary

A leading maritime service provider is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in public areas of the ship. The role involves cleaning, inventory management, and responding to guest inquiries, working collaboratively with the crew. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and previous housekeeping experience, along with exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills.

Job description

- Clean and maintain all public areas, including but not limited to, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and lounges

- Vacuum, dust, and polish all surfaces in public areas

- Empty trash and replace garbage bags as needed

- Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies

- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department

- Assist with setting up and breaking down public areas for events or activities

- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking when necessary

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and healthy environment for guests and crew members

- Work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the ship

Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and pushing heavy equipment
