Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy advocacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage with government officials and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience preparing policy documents and advocacy materials.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.
• High integrity and ethical conduct.
• Knowledge of local and national political processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public affairs strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor government policies, legislation, and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
• Engage with government officials, legislators, and regulatory bodies to advocate for the company.
• Prepare position papers, policy briefs, and advocacy materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders and associations.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, forums, and events with public officials and stakeholders.
• Advise senior management on public affairs matters and risks/opportunities.
• Contribute to CSR initiatives and community outreach programs.
• Support the communications team on policy-related messaging.
