The incumbent will be appointed on a permanent basis.

The position is based in Pretoria.

Key Outputs
  1. Provide civil legal aid to the poor in the coverage area of the unit.
  2. Handle complex civil matters.
  3. Supervise and guide civil Candidate Attorneys and Paralegals.
  4. Assist in providing support and assistance to civil sections of the office in the designated cluster.
  5. Represent women, children, and vulnerable landless people in all civil matters.
  6. Perform office administration.
Required Competencies (Skills, Knowledge & Attributes)
  • Admitted Attorney / Advocate (the latter must have completed pupillage at a recognized institution).
  • LLB or B Proc degree.
  • At least five years of post-admission civil experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Team player with a self-development orientation.
  • A valid driver's license is an advantage.
Remuneration
