We are looking for a GSOC Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, have a strong aptitude in communication and analytical thinking when responding to events, as well as having a team-first mentality.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Monitor global events from a variety of sources, assess impact, and disseminate those incidents to the appropriate parties.
2. Effectively comprehend data and compose clear and effective communications for a global audience.
3. Regularly monitor security camera systems and coordinate with physical security teams to respond to any incidents.
4. Provide dispatch and investigation when needed.
5. Respond to inbound calls from employees and security personnel providing customer service focused responses.
6. Write security incident investigation reports to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to management.
7. Monitor designated online tools to conduct situational awareness on social media platforms.
8. Collect, evaluate, and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood.
9. Contribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance risk management.
10. Work closely with different security teams.
11. Provide emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, event dispatch, and emergency notification services.
12. Process and maintain a wide variety of files, logs, reports, and forms.

What You Will Bring

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent military experience is advantageous.
2. Interest or direct experience in Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management, or Corporate Security.
3. Competent user of Microsoft Suite, Slack, and other similar tools.
4. Willingness to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
6. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
7. Quick adaptability and excellence in dynamic situations.
8. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
9. Effective conflict resolution skills.
10. Ability to maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
11. Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
12. Experience working with Genetec (CCTV / Alarm Monitoring) is strongly preferred.
