Job description

A very busy Psychology Practice in beautiful Claremont, Cape Town, has extended its room space which is now available. They are actively seeking HPCSA Registered Psychologists (Clinical or Counselling) to join their dynamic therapeutic team for a full-time professional position. The positions are available from as soon as the beginning of March / April 2025. The practice is equipped with a generator to ensure uninterrupted services during load shedding. The ideal candidate will function as an associate within the practice, primarily working independently yet benefiting from the collective support of the group practice. This setup allows for enjoying the full benefits of referral safety as well as autonomy as your own boss - minus the pressures of single-handedly managing a private practice.

Responsibilities:

Providing general psychology services for children, adolescents, adults, couples & families. Collaborating with a team of Psychologists & Psychometrists where clinically useful (although successful candidates will work independently for the most part). Opportunity for specialization and progressive professional growth.

Requirements:

Registration / eligibility with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Solid clinical experience preferred; commitment to ongoing growth and development is essential. Medium to long-term therapeutic approach required. Willingness to work with all age groups as skills develop.

Independent Practitioner role with team support. A solid stream of new referrals (very busy!). Dedicated administrative & reception support for bookings, medical aid claims and other matters. Salary:

Competitive salary range: R80,000 - R100,000 per month.
