Exciting New Opportunity for a Psychologist to join our team in the Newcastle / Hunter OR Cairns Region!

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychologist to join our team and provide high-quality mental health support to individuals in the community.

The Position

  • Permanent Full-time Role

Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule - no weekends!

This role offers the flexibility to work from home supporting clients via Telehealth or in-person depending on the role's requirements.

  • You will conduct health assessments to evaluate clients' needs and create plans, recommendations, and take corrective actions.

What will you need to be considered for the role?

As an Allied Health professional at Integratedliving, you'll be part of a dedicated team focused on promoting the wellbeing of older Australians, helping them live independently in their communities. In this role, you'll conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients, addressing complex situations and making tailored recommendations for their care. This includes both telehealth and face-to-face consultations.

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients with unique needs including dementia, housing issues, access to services, and elder abuse, providing you with the opportunity to truly make an impact. You'll also have the chance to contribute to cross-functional projects and run group discussions.

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Psychology recognized by Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Full AHPRA registration or provisional registration with an external mentor.
  • Satisfactory Police check and current First Aid and CPR.
  • Current driver license and ability to travel for client care.
  • Ability to work remotely as a lone practitioner.
  • Sound clinical knowledge and ability to deal with complex issues.
