A government agency seeks an Operations Manager to lead the provincial network and manage operations supporting small enterprises. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in operations management and a strong educational background in business administration or operational management, with a focus on strategic development and stakeholder engagement.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE
JOB
To lead, plan, manage, monitor and evaluate Seda provincial
network operations in delivering support services to Small
Enterprises in line with Seda strategy and policies.
KEY PERFORMANCE
AREAS
❖ Manage the Provincial network and provide leadership,
direction, support and advice to the Provincial network
❖ Develop strategic alliances and partnerships with all relevant
stakeholders and effectively communicate with media in order
to promote and advance the Seda vision, mission and mandate
❖ Infrastructure Management
❖ People Management
REQUIRED MINIMUM
QUALIFICATION
❖ Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor Degree plus Honours Degree
(NQF Level 8) or Post Graduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in
Operational Management or Business Administration.
❖ Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) as added advantage.
REQUIRED MINIMUM
WORK EXPERIENCE
❖ 8 -10 year’s work experience in Operations Management of
which at least 5 years must have been in a management
position.
❖ Knowledge and understanding of all relevant legislation,
policies, and procedures related to SMME development
❖ Knowledge of the PFMA and Procurement related policies
❖ Knowledge and understanding of communications and
stakeholder management requirements and processes
❖ Programme and Project management experience
