Role Purpose

Develop and drive profitable sales through effective plans, targets, and growth strategies in support of the business sales objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Management, or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • FSCA recognized qualification
  • FAIS Key Individual Regulatory Exam Level 1
  • FAIS Representative Regulatory Exam Level 5
  • 8-10 years’ experience in a senior sales management role
  • 5-8 years’ management experience
  • Experience in rendering financial services

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Process:

  • Implement and manage the sales strategy for the province aligned with overall business goals and client-centric principles.
  • Develop and oversee risk management strategies for the province.
  • Research market and competitor intelligence to enhance sales strategies.
  • Reduce wastage through fraud prevention, management of surrenders, and claims.
  • Ensure legislative and internal compliance, maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Manage client service and administrative processes within the region.
  • Oversee Regional Managers, ensuring market access and activity management.
  • Implement sales plans to increase opportunities and market penetration.
  • Track and analyze provincial performance against targets.
  • Improve profitability through strategic planning and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Set and achieve performance targets, ensuring sales growth.
  • Communicate regulatory, process, and risk management requirements effectively.

Client Services:

  • Define service models to enhance client satisfaction and value chain integration.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence and fair treatment of clients.
  • Align service offerings with client needs.
  • Manage service delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Evaluate and improve client service practices.
  • Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and monitor service level agreements.

People:
