Role Purpose
Develop and drive profitable sales through effective plans, targets, and growth strategies in support of the business sales objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Management, or an equivalent relevant qualification
- FSCA recognized qualification
- FAIS Key Individual Regulatory Exam Level 1
- FAIS Representative Regulatory Exam Level 5
- 8-10 years’ experience in a senior sales management role
- 5-8 years’ management experience
- Experience in rendering financial services
Duties & Responsibilities
Internal Process:
- Implement and manage the sales strategy for the province aligned with overall business goals and client-centric principles.
- Develop and oversee risk management strategies for the province.
- Research market and competitor intelligence to enhance sales strategies.
- Reduce wastage through fraud prevention, management of surrenders, and claims.
- Ensure legislative and internal compliance, maintaining high ethical standards.
- Manage client service and administrative processes within the region.
- Oversee Regional Managers, ensuring market access and activity management.
- Implement sales plans to increase opportunities and market penetration.
- Track and analyze provincial performance against targets.
- Improve profitability through strategic planning and stakeholder collaboration.
- Set and achieve performance targets, ensuring sales growth.
- Communicate regulatory, process, and risk management requirements effectively.
Client Services:
- Define service models to enhance client satisfaction and value chain integration.
- Foster a culture of service excellence and fair treatment of clients.
- Align service offerings with client needs.
- Manage service delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Evaluate and improve client service practices.
- Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders.
